This canvas reproduces the Wall of Grace of the Pentecost Room, an original oil on canvas artwork painted by Chilean artist Daniel Cariola at the Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center in Jerusalem, commissioned by the Legionaries of Christ as part of an initiative promoting sacred art in the Holy Land.
The Pentecost Room is an artistic depiction of Acts of the Apostles chapters 1 and 2, bringing to life the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
Among the scenes represented are the healing of a paralyzed man, Thomas, James the Lesser, Jude Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot. Also portrayed are the Syrophoenician woman, Simon of Cyrene, and the Samaritan woman carrying the living water, symbol of the Holy Spirit.
This wall contains additional symbols and biblical references, inviting continued contemplation and new discoveries with every viewing.
Each reproduction arrives unframed, carefully rolled in a protective tube for safe shipping and preservation. The canvas may be mounted on a wooden frame or displayed within a picture frame with frosted glass for best effect.
Bring home a piece inspired by Jerusalem, Scripture, and the Holy Spirit.
