MANTLE "Touching the Mantle" – Inspired by the Gospel passage in which a woman, full of faith, touched Jesus' mantle and received healing (Mark 5:25–34). The mantle reminds us of the woman with the hemorrhage and helps us focus our prayer on Jesus. It is a symbol that unites our gathering today with that encounter in the Gospel, and connects us to Magdala specifically the Encounter Chapel where prayers are offered before the painting of the woman with the hemorrhage. You may use it in your personal prayer, at home, or during community gatherings as a sign of trust and hope in Christ.
The Mantle is made of 100% Cotton and woven by hand especially for Magdala.
Measurements: Length 115cm, tassels 16cm each side, width 62cm.
