A beautiful replica of the Magdala Stone was found within Magdala´s first-century synagogue. The stone was used as an altar stone to read the Torah Scrolls from. It is currently the only stone of its kind featuring a Menorah from the Second Temple period and archaeologists, referring to this as one of Israel´s greatest finds in the last 50 years, now believe the stone may be a replica of Jerusalem´s Second Temple.
