This canvas reproduces Mary Magdalene’s Wall of the Pentecost Room, an original oil on canvas artwork painted by Chilean artist Daniel Cariola at the Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center in Jerusalem, commissioned by the Legionaries of Christ as part of an initiative promoting sacred art in the Holy Land.
The Pentecost Room is an artistic depiction of Acts of the Apostles chapters 1 and 2, bringing to life the moment the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples gathered in the Upper Room at Pentecost.
Among the figures represented on this wall are Mary Magdalene, joyfully running toward the Holy Spirit; Lazarus and his sisters Mary and Martha; Nicodemus; and Jairus with his resurrected daughter. Fr. Juan Solana is also portrayed as a child beside his mother.
This wall contains additional symbols and biblical references, inviting continued contemplation and new discoveries with every viewing.
Each reproduction arrives unframed, carefully rolled in a protective tube for safe shipping and preservation. The canvas may be mounted on a wooden frame or displayed within a picture frame with frosted glass for best effect.
